Several staff have been under the weather and work has slowed down due to illnesses. We appreciate your understanding and patience in the face of this difficulty.
The General Parent Meeting has been rescheduled due to the unforeseen need for a second technology meeting, the General Parent Meeting, has been moved to Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 3:00 pm KSA time. This meeting will be repeated on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 8:00 pm KSA time. Please choose the meeting easiest for you to attend.
EDIA’s “Student Incentive Drawing” has been delayed due to staff shortages and illness. In sha Allah it will occur by tomorrow. Students are being recognized for their excellence in three distinct areas: Academic Excellence, Most Improved, and Best Behavior. Teachers select students for each area. Eligible students are entered into a drawing and may win a prize. Prizes will be awarded by grade level. All winners will be contacted by email following the drawing.
The digital citizenship theme will continue through December and core teachers will continue to present lessons to prepare students to be safe and responsible while online.
The “Digital Citizenship” assembly is scheduled for Sunday, December 19, 2021: TBA. All EDIA families are invited to attend.
Students will be testing in Islamic Studies, Qur’an, and Arabic, beginning on Monday, December 20, 2021, and concluding on Thursday, December 23, 2021. They will test in Core Subjects beginning Sunday, December 26, 2021 through Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
Winter break begins on Sunday, January 2, 2022, and school resumes on Sunday, January 16, 2022
