As Salaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatulillahi wa Baarakatuhu, In sha Allah this message finds you well. The final time change from Daylight Saving Time will take place this weekend for North America and a few countries in South America.
There are a few Asian countries where the time has already changed, including Jordan, Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria. However, in other Asian countries there will be no time change and the only time change in Africa is the Canary Islands.
EDIA will be affected by the time changes that occurs in Canada and the United States. The clocks will be turned back one hour, starting at 2:00 am on Sunday, November 7, 2021. That will call for teachers who teach in these time zones will have to turn back their teaching time by one hour. Students in these nations will have their schedules change to accommodate this unavoidable time change.
We thank you in advance for your patience with these schedule changes. Please know that we are working to make this transition as smooth as possible. Administrators and PAC will be on standby for students and parents who face difficulties with class changes. Many student and teacher schedules will undergo changes, starting on November 7, 2021.
